A diaper bag checklist for leaving the house with a baby
The best diaper bag is the one you can grab without thinking. A small repeatable list removes one decision before you walk out the door.
Pack for the plan, then one change
Start with the expected length of the outing and add a little margin. Diapers, wipes, a change of clothes, a feeding plan, and a comfort item cover many ordinary trips.
Check items for your own baby and the weather rather than packing every possible thing. The goal is a usable bag, not a heavy one.
Reset when you get home
The easiest time to refill the bag is before the next outing is on the calendar. Replace what was used and put the bag back in its usual spot.
